BMI Update: Still Fat

BMI-Nov-8-2007

Woohoo! down .1! So, weight loss efforts haven’t been so great, but then again I haven’t been trying.  Now that I’ve decided to start trying again, the pounds are slowly starting to come off.  I read a good article that reminded me that if I diet for 4 months, that’s only ~ .4% of my entire life.  My goal is skinny by summer, and starting now hopefully it’ll happen!

Logan loses weight?

So, I’m copying AdamX in the topic of today’s post (in a general sort of way).  I’ve lost 2lbs in a week.  At this rate, I’ve got 10 more weeks to go before I can claim my maximum healthy weight of 136.   Weight is a funny thing.  Back in olden times it was acceptable to be plump.  It meant you were well fed.

Anyways, the point of this post is mainly to tell you that I’ve decided to join the YMCA with a colleague of mine.  We’re going to take a water aerobics class.  We’ll probably be the youngest in the pool by 20 years (and she’s 14 years older than I am).  We’ve been swimming a few times last week and using our on-campus gym to get into shape.  While neither of us is obese, I’d definitely like to have flatter flat parts and toner “wobbly bits” (if, in fact, a man can have wobbly bits).

Comment on what you think helps you the most.  (Not eating is NOT an option).
